More Tremors in the Force

Ello peeps!

I've got a couple of things to talk about this time. The "Defcon 2" warning I gave out last week is given out again this week, as the Grandparental-type units may be coming to visit any time next week, which may mean Wednesday of course. More news as and when.

In other news, C64Glen spotted a piece of disturbing news about Ning, which you can read here. As you may know, Ning powers BBB's "social networking" site and it looks like they won't be providing a free option in the future. I'm not a tight-wad but BBB is done as a hobby, so I'm not liking the idea of paying a premium.

Of course, the Facebook page has been around for ages, so maybe I ought to build that up a bit more and move us all over to that instead.
